The Crack of Noon with Remember Jones, described as a public access-style morning show delivered as a cross between Pee Wee’s Playhouse and The Rosie O’Donnell Show, will be directed and hosted by Remember Jones and feature interviews, musical performances, sketch comedy, and special guests.
Airing at RememberJones.com every Friday at 12pm noon EST beginning March 27th, the show will be filmed using Axelrod Performing Arts Center in Deal, NJ as a sound stage with a small crew, Mark Masefield on the piano, and special guests each episode. To view the program, tickets at a donation of $20 for each episode, or $50 for all 3, are available now at rememberjones.com/thecrackofnoon. Your ticket purchase donation will directly help those working on the show who are all creatives dealing with layoffs and months of lost work.
Guests on the show will be those affected by the loss of work due to coronavirus stipulations: musicians, business owners, and restaurateurs. Episode 1 airing on 3/27 will include singer/songwriter Glen Burtnik, as well as Marilyn Schlossbach, owner and executive chef of Langosta Lounge in Asbury Park. Episode 2 on 4/3 features Tara Elliott, musician and owner of Bettie’s Bombshells in Asbury Park, with comedian Ryan Maher (MTV, The Artie Lange Show, Sirius/XM), and singer/songwriter/recording artist Quincy Mumford as musical guest. Episode 3 will see singer/songwriter Renee Maskin (Lowlight), singer/songwriter Taylor Tote, and Chris Barlow, owner and chef of Big Barlow’s BBQ and Catering in Barnegat, NJ.
